It is confirmed, October 8, 2011 is FELMAUSA Inauguration

Voice of Mandingo website has confirmed news report that the inauguration of FELMAUSA President-elect, Mohamed S. Bility, including other elected officials will be held in the brotherly city of Philadelphia on Saturday, October 8, 2011.
According to the chairman of the Inaugural Committee, Hon. Lucine Kamara, activities marking this occasion commence with an elder and traditional hours at the ACANA center in Philadelphia, PA from 12noon to 3PM. The Traditional hours will be followed by a grand soccer match between the FELMAUSA All Star and the African All Star. The climax of the day will be the official inaugural ceremony at the Devine Mercy Parish located at 2827 S. 73rd St. Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Kamara further disclosed that advance ticket purchase for the events is available now. Entrance fees: Ordinary $20.00 and special patrons $50.00. On July 4, 2011, delegates representing various states overwhelmingly elected Mr. Bility as president of the federation. He will succeed current President Mohamed Dukuly. The 2011 inaugural ceremony is expected to bring together prominent members of the Mandingo communities and special invitees to grace the occasion. FELMAUSA is the largest Organization of Liberian Mandingos in the United States.

President Bility extends thanks and urges patience

The president of FELMAUSA, Hon. Mohamed S. Bility, has again congratulated members of the federation for their full participation in the just ended inaugural event held in Philadelphia, PA. In a press release issued last night, the President extended his profound thanks and gratitude to the chairman of the Inaugural Committee, Parain, Marain, distinguished invitees, and the women group of LIMAP.
Meanwhile, President Bility is urging all FELMAUSANS to remain patient while the issues with the federation’s website are being resolved. He encourages the general public to visit independent community websites and the listserv for FELMAUSA-related updates, but advised that communication intended for the leadership must be sent through the Secretary General.
