The Federation of Liberian Mandingo Associations in USA (FELMAUSA) extends its profound appreciations to you for your highly generous contribution to the FELMAUSA Medical Mission to Liberia.

With your unwavering support and prayers, FELMAUSA has been able thus far to achieve, among other things, the following:

1.      Shipped to Liberia a 40-ft container of donations of medications, medical supplies, books, clothes and shoes – worth over $700,000.00;

2.      Planned and executed a very successful fund-raising dinner which brought together dignitaries and people of diverse backgrounds, and actualized a total of $7,000.00 in cash, check, and pledged contributions;

3.      Recruited, free of charge, medical doctors, medical practitioners, and individuals to volunteer with the FELMAUSA Medical Mission to Liberia (May 18 – 28, 2011):

a.      Dr. Thomas Baah – Ophthalmologist (eye surgeon)

b.      Dr. Nettie Johnson (General Practitioner)

c.      Dr. Edward Guizie – Chief Ophthalmologist of Liberia

d.      Dr. Mohamed Swary – OBGYN/Surgeon

e.      Dr. Solomane Konneh – General Surgeon

f.       Ben Kulubozomo Gbolee-Weefaa – Biomedical Engineer

g.      Roberta Williams – IT Application Integration Specialist

h.      Kasumu Sillah – Security Consultant

i.        Asata Kamara – RN, BSN, CCRN

j.        Damaris Amaya – MSN, CRNP

k.      Kim Patterson – MSN, CRNP

l.        Makia Kanneh – LPN

4.      Secured, free of charge, warehousing offered by Hon. Losene Kamara (Former Liberian Min. of Finance) for the storage of the medication and medical supplies throughout the life of the Mission, as well as a conference hall for workshops and trainings; and

5.      Secured, free of charge, Security Consulting offered by Bro. Kasumu Sillah for the safety of the Medical Mission and its participants;

As we move to the crucial and final stage of implementing this medical mission, we humbly seek your continuous humanitarian efforts and invaluable donations to help FELMAUSA constructively impact the lives of Liberians, thereby making this world a better place for all humanity (http://www.felmausa.org/health.htm).
